 Founded in 1977, Tabu Records gave the world hugely successful acts like Alexander ONeal, Cherrelle, the S.O.S. Band, Brainstorm and many others, whilst nurturing the powerhouse production team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis  one of the most successful production teams of the last thirty years.  Released in 1986 and produced by Jam & Lewis, Sands Of Time was the bands sixth album and the last to feature vocalist Mary Davis. It includes the huge hit The Finest, as well as Borrowed Love, Even When You Sleep and No Lies.  This 2 CD expanded casebound book set features many additional remixes and alternate versions as well as the lyrics and newly-authored notes by Justin Kantor, based on a 2013 interview with male lead vocalist Abdul Raoof.
