Sinopsis:
La joven veinteañera Louisa "Lou" Clark (Emilia Clarke) vive en un pequeño pueblo en mitad de la campiña inglesa. Sin un rumbo claro en su vida, inestable y creativa, Lou va de un trabajo a otro para ayudar a su familia a llegar a fin de mes. Sin embargo, su habitual actitud alegre se pone a prueba cuando afronta un nuevo reto profesional. Acepta un trabajo en el "castillo" local y se convierte en cuidadora y compañera de Will Traynor (Sam Claflin), un joven banquero adinerado que se quedó en silla de ruedas tras un accidente hace dos años.
