Más moderno y utilizando una tecnología mucho más avanzada, más guapo y sobre todo, no tan despistado como su antecesor, Michael Westen se verá envuelto en unas cuantas misiones muy, muy arriesgadas. ¿Conseguirá volver a ser agente del Gobierno? ¿Quién le ha quitado su cargo?
El estreno de la serie en EE. UU. rozó los 4 millones de espectadores. Ese dato incluye 2 millones de espectadores en el codiciado segmento de adultos entre 18 y 49 años. La audiencia ha ido aumentando en las siguientes emisiones, llegando a alcanzar 4.781.000 espectadores en la emisión de su último episodio de la primera temporada. Como consecuendia de este rotundo éxito, Último Aviso renovó con una segunda temporada de 13 episodios.
Los datos de audiencia en Estados Unidos han sido, en general, tan buenos que ha llegado a ser el segundo programa más visto de prime time por encima de las grandes cadenas como ABC o CBS, alcanzando más de 5.4 millones de espectadores por capítulo.
