Sinopsis:
Después de una lucha titánica contra el General Zod, Metropolis ha sido arrasada y Superman se ha convertido en la figura más controvertida del mundo. Mientras que para muchos sigue siendo un emblema de esperanza, un buen número de personas lo consideran una amenazada para la humanidad y quieren justicia por todo ese caos que ha traído a la Tierra. Para Bruce Wayne, Superman es claramente un peligro para la sociedad. Teme por el futuro del mundo por un poder tan imprudente alejado de la mano del gobierno. Y por eso se pone la máscara y la capa para de enderezar al Hombre de Acero. La rivalidad entre ellos está alimentada por el rencor y la venganza, y nada puede disuadirlos de librar esta guerra. Sin embargo, una nueva y oscura amenaza surge con la forma de un tercer hombre. Uno que tiene un poder mayor y que puede poner en peligro al mundo y causar la destrucción total.
